Epoch Buddy is designed to work fully locally in your browser. We do not collect, transmit, sell, or share any personal data.

Data collection

Epoch Buddy does not collect:

• Personally identifiable information
• Authentication credentials
• Financial, health, or location data
• Web history or browsing activity
• Website content beyond your selected text for conversion

Data storage

The extension stores your last 10 conversions locally using the browser’s storage API, and optional in-popup feedback preferences (such as hiding the feedback footer or your last star rating). This data never leaves your device and history can be cleared at any time using the Clear History button.

Permissions

• Storage: used to save recent conversion history and optional feedback footer preferences.
• Host access: enables selection-based conversion on any webpage.

Third-party services

Epoch Buddy does not use analytics, tracking, ads, or external servers.
